
Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Peter Straub is the author of fourteen novels (including the horror classic Ghost Story), which have been translated into more than twenty foreign languages. He has won the British Fantasy Award, two Bram Stoker awards, and two World Fantasy awards.
He lives in New York City and currently worked with Stephen King on a sequel to their bestselling novel, The Talisman. He is a member of Horror Writers Association, the PEN American Center and the Adams Round Table, and is intensely interested in jazz, as well as opera and other forms of classical music.
